Funeral services for Mrs. Melva “Micey” Underwood, 65, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 8, 2010, at Loch Arbor Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Myrick officiating. Interment will follow at Loch Arbor Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mrs. Underwood passed away Saturday, March 06, 2010, at her residence.
Survivors include her husband, Homer Underwood; sons, Charles Simmons, Daniel Simmons, and Timothy Simmons, Sr. and wife Annette; daughter, Suzanne Hewett and husband Jim; stepdaughter, Sheryl Alexander and husband Billy; stepson, Rodney Underwood; 16 grandchildren, Amber, Andrew, Austin, Dakota, Daniel, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Jonathan, Kayla, Kendra, Lewis, Morgan, Matthew, Seth, Timothy, and Torey; and 1 great-grandson, Connor.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at Loch Arbor Baptist Church.
